You have something to say.

Broca can help.

For people who can’t speak, write, or type, Broca uses AI to make communicating a little more fun.

People with aphasia relate to the idea that words are “on the tip of their tongue.” They know what they want to say, but can’t.

Existing tablets, apps, and other AAC solutions are tedious to customize, years behind what technology is capable of today, and, in our opinion, not very much fun.

At Broca, we’re making a better way.

Who is Broca for?

  • I want to be able to have a conversation with my mom beyond just "yes" or "no" questions. Broca gives us a starting point for deeper conversations.

    Daughter of a stroke survivor

  • I like the idea of not having to spend time programming an AAC device during our speech sessions. I haven't seen anything else like it.

    Speech Language Pathologist

  • It's really frustrating when I can't understand what she needs. It helps by making suggestions for her to choose from.

    Caregiver

Aphasia is a loss of words, not intelligence.

How to use Broca

Broca listens to a conversation and suggests replies. When you see a card you want to say, select it, and the phrase is spoken out loud for you.

Jump in anytime. Broca will follow the conversation and give you something to say.
